At Clear Branch Baptist Church, we believe that advancing God’s Kingdom doesn’t come through new ways of doing church, but through the ancient way — faithful preaching and contextualizing the unchanging gospel within a changing culture. CBBC Florence teaches faith in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, as the only way to eternal life.
At Clear Branch, we want every guest to know that you are not only welcomed, but also wanted. Jesus taught that God’s Kingdom comes to earth by Spirit-filled disciples, making disciples. This is done through the faithful biblical preaching and teaching of God’s unchanging truth to a constantly changing world.
We believe that a person is saved only by grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. God has called every believer to help make disciples through using their God-given passions, spiritual gifts, and talents.

Our Staff
Our staff recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.
Bryan Presson, Pastor
Bryan has served as Pastor at Clear Branch since 2018. He and his wife, Penny, have been married for 39 years and have two children and three grandchildren. Bryan is retired from the Clinton Fire Department and currently owns Mid State Welding, a steel fabrication business in Clinton, MS. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, and golfing. Email Bryan
Martin Tucker, Youth & College Minister
Martin has been serving as Youth Pastor at Clear Branch since 2015. He is the leader and head-instructor of TKO-Full Armor Karate Outreach Ministry, a free karate ministry he started in 2014. He and his wife, Jessica, have five children: Bethany, Halle, Nathan, Parker, and Savannah. Email Martin
Mark Soileau, Music Minister
Mark has been serving as Music Minister at Clear Branch since 2019 and has a passion for worshiping through congregational song. He is married to his wife, Jordan, and has a BA in Worship Leadership from Mississippi College. He is currently working on his Masters of Divinity in Church Music through New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He and Jordan have a son, Joseph. Email Mark
Larami Brunson, Children’s Minister
Larami has been serving as Children’s Minister at Clear Branch since 2020. She has lived in Florence all her life and has attended Clear Branch for over 10 years. She and her husband, Austin, have one daughter, Lacey. Larami has a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Mississippi College and is the Middle School Principal and Director of Academic Advancement at Park Place Christian Academy in Pearl. Email Larami
Brooke Compton, Ministry Assistant
Brooke has been serving as Ministry Assistant since 2023. She was born and raised in Florence and Clear Branch is her childhood church. After moving away for school, getting married, and starting a family she and her husband Webb decided to move back to Florence and have been back at her home church since, and are happy to call Clear Branch Baptist their home. She and Webb have four amazing children: Sebastian, Kingston, Tobias and Matilda. Email Brooke
